At the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum we work with plants, but what we care about is people. Our relationships matter. Your safety, and that of the community at large, is of utmost importance to us during this extraordinary time.
This year Spring Affair is ONLINE.
Our online plant sale will let you browse these plants from the comfort of your own home. You will even get a chance to tune into educational talks and garden chats.
Plant sales are our main fundraisers and they help sustain our organization through the year. We hope you will support us by buying plants, renewing your membership and maybe making a donation.
We hope you will stay safe, healthy and hopeful.
Happy planting,
Nebraska Statewide Arboretum Staff and Board of Directors
How to do the ONLINE Sale:
How long will the online sale run?
The online Spring Affair shop will be open until April 18 or until all pick-up spots are full. We encourage you to share this site on your social media channels.
How will online ordering work? Is it difficult?
No. Shopping for plants will be much like using any other online retail store. When you find a plant you want, you add it to the shopping cart. When you’re ready to checkout, you enter your payment information.
Where and when can I pick up my plants?
During the online checkout, you will select a pickup time at the NSA greenhouses on UNL's East Campus. No plants will be shipped.
What will the pick-up process be like?
We will have your order pulled and labeled with your last name. When you arrive, find the plants with your name on them and load them up. It's that simple!
No. Staff will pull orders in advance and no exchanges will be made during pick-up. Sales will be final. No exchanges or returns. No guarantees. Should the arboretum have to cancel the event for reasons beyond our control we will then issue refunds. If a plant becomes unavailable (generally due to stock death) we will issue refunds.
What if I don’t feel well at pick-up?
Please stay home. You or a loved one can contact our office at arboretum@unl.edu and we will work to make other arrangements.

I’m new to gardening. Browsing 800 varieties of plants online sounds
overwhelming.
Be sure to look at the “curated collections” within the online store for some pre-selected garden options.
